i have a kodak easyshare digital camera model m340. that wont hold its charge, i have contacted kodak who said the problem is the camera. the camera starts to charge and the light flashes for 10 minutes then turns green, when turned on the camera shutter opens and closes straight away

camera took a heavy knock whist i was mountain biking. damaged metal lens barrel surround so blades which protect/reveal lens do not retract fully (or return correctly) when camera is switched on/off. also slight compression damage to lcd screen but this is barely noticeable.
